It all started when I adopted Ika, my dog. I bought her one of those tick and flea collars but hated seeing her wear it. To cover it up, I made her a little collar to go on top. Then I thought: what if I could make something pretty that also protects? I found EM Bead technology and started making the collars that are still our best sellers today.
After that, I kept creating with the same idea: beautiful, useful, handmade. The Waterproof collection came because Ika loves swimming and the collars would get wet and smelly. So I brought in BioThane and paracord for durability. It all started with love for Ika and a desire to create things that are both pretty and practical.

The craft
From raw cord to finished collar.
The material
550 paracord — the same cord climbers trust on rock faces. Seven inner strands wrapped in a woven sheath. BioThane is TPU-coated webbing, originally made for horse tack. Both are built to survive water, mud, and years of daily use.
The weave
I use a cobra knot pattern — each knot pulled tight by hand, one at a time. Your dog’s name gets worked into the braid with coloured letter beads as I go. No glue, no shortcuts.
The finish
Stainless steel D-rings and buckles, flame-sealed cord ends, every connection tested with force. I check the fit, trim the excess, and pack it by hand.
